Research: My research project will mainly focus on the investigation of electron dynamics with attosecond time resolution in atoms and more complex molecular systems.
This extremely fast and unprecedented time-resolution is achieved by using a compact XUV attosecond beam-line, which generates trains and isolated attosecond pulses with a 3D momentum imaging spectrometer (COLTRIMS) in a two color pump-probe (XUV-IR) experiments.
My work will cover a broad range of topics spanning from the generation of femtosecond and attosecond pulses to molecular dynamics and coincidence measurements with advanced electron and ion spectrometers.
